Hello everybody!
Since I saw so many people having a blog, I decided to start one too.
One about my favorite thing, MUSIC!
R&B, Soul, Hip Hop and New Jack Swing that is.
I want to bring you a good mix out of new and old.
The stuff that is talked about these days and also the stuff that has almost been forgotten.
Keep checking back, I will try to update this as often as my time allows me to.

As I searched through my CD collection the other day, my eyes caught several that I didn't listen to in a long time, such as Jodeci, Troop, Basic Black and so on.
I often wonder what happened to these bands from way back when?

I know the singer of Troop is on a solo trip right now, his name is
AL MAC
and you can find his music on

When you listen to it, it makes you miss Troop so much.
And man, another floor burner was this:
Wrecks'n'effect: New Jack Swing

And not to forget about
Jodeci: It's alright
Or one of my all time fav.
Keith Sweat: Keep it comin'

Back to the now...
I saw the video of Chris Brown last night, "Run it", it is pretty decent, I like how they dance and needless to say that the song is awesome!
Here is a little snippet:

Another cat on the market is Chamillionaire out of Houston, Texas; cool beats (of course, he is produced by Scott Storch!), smooth sound, hear it yourself (Snippet of the song "Turn it up"):

He started out with doing a lot of songs for DJ's and their mixtapes, guess that is one good way to finally make it and get a deal...
A new chick to watch out for is Cassie, produced by Ryan Leslie and his famous Next Selection team. Unfortunately images of her online are rare, but I am sure that will change soon...
I am pretty sure you already danced to the moving jam "Me and U" featuring Ray J. , it's played in every good club:

another one, very romantic and smooth is "Kiss me", which she sings with Ryan Leslie himself, *sigh*:

Yay, Toni Braxton is back! After "Please" she is now liking it like that ;o)

Ok folks, that's it for today, I'll talk to y'all later with more info, songs and thoughts.
Be safe...
